Lemmy does a pretty good job pushing back against it so far - it never goes unmentioned like it would on reddit. And I think that has an effect. Once I actually started looking for censored content, I realized there isn’t that much of it here. I could go a day or two without finding any.

I’ll also say that there a few words I wouldn’t uncensor, namely slurs.

I’ve started taking censored posts like this and emphatically uncensoring them so the naughty words are even more prominent.

When I got a lawn, I didn’t do anything to it. It gets mowed every two weeks, but that’s it. After a particularly nasty drought most of the grass died. A few months later, clover started popping up on its own. It’s much better than grass, and now a bunny likes to visit us.
