on the other hand have some conviction for your product, otherwise I will lose confidence that your product is as good as your marketing makes it seem.

yes. I have a rack in my basement and host gitlab out of one of my servers.

it’s available over LAN or VPN.

nightly backups to a nas and weekly syncs to S3.

I stopped sending updates to it and host my own gitlab now.

won’t ever look back.
